Fire Marshal Work Schedule. A. The employee in the Fire Marshal position shall work a forty (40) hour work week as scheduled by the Fire Chief. B. For the purpose of this Agreement, the established work periods for the Fire Marshal shall be twenty-eight (28) days. If the employee works more than one hundred and sixty hours (160 hours) in a twenty-eight (28) day work period, the employee will be paid the hours worked more than one hundred and sixty (160) hours in compensatory time added to the employee’s compensatory time bank, provided that the employee’s compensatory time bank does not exceed two hundred and forty (240) hours. If paying the employee in compensatory time for hours worked in excess of one hundred and sixty (160) hours in a twenty-eight (28) day work period would cause the employee’s compensatory time bank to exceed two hundred and forty (240) hours, then the hours in excess of two hundred and forty (240) hours will be paid in overtime pay.
