Fingerprinting data Clause Samples
The 'Fingerprinting data' clause defines how unique identifiers, such as digital fingerprints, are collected, stored, and used to track or verify individuals or devices. In practice, this clause may specify the types of data considered as fingerprints—like browser configurations, device IDs, or biometric markers—and outline the purposes for which such data can be processed, such as fraud prevention or user authentication. Its core function is to ensure transparency and set boundaries around the use of fingerprinting technologies, thereby addressing privacy concerns and regulatory compliance.
