Final Dates Clause Samples
The "Final Dates" clause establishes the definitive deadlines by which certain obligations or actions under the contract must be completed. It typically specifies the last permissible date for performance, delivery, or fulfillment of contractual duties, and may outline consequences for missing these deadlines, such as penalties or termination rights. By clearly setting these cut-off points, the clause ensures all parties are aware of their timeframes, thereby reducing ambiguity and helping to prevent disputes related to delays or late performance.
Final Dates. If the final date of any deadline falls upon a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday recognized by the U.S. Postal Service, then in such event the time of such deadline will be extended to the next day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday recognized by the U. S. Postal Service. Whenever the word "days" is used herein, it will be considered to mean "calendar days" and not "business days" unless an express statement to the contrary is made.
