Fill a Vacancy. The officer may elect to fill a vacancy in a position of CCO, SO, BG or PT-BG, without a reduction of seniority, and will be required to complete a six month probationary period (CCO only). If the officer fails to successfully complete the probationary period s/he may elect to fill another vacancy or be placed on the re-hire list in accordance with the following, though not for another CCO vacancy.
