Fiber Optic. Fiber-optic improvements supporting only communications for the County's public transportation system are eligible, provided that the proposed improvements have received approval from the maintaining and operating agency(ies). A shared conduit that includes use for any purpose other than the County's public transportation system is not eligible for funding through Transportation Surtax Proceeds.
