FIA-responsible persons. All members of the FIP applicant family shall develop and sign an FIA, unless exempt as described at 441—subrule 41.24(2). When an FIA-responsible person is incompetent or incapacitated, someone acting responsibly on that person’s behalf may participate in the interview. Responsibility for carrying out the steps of the FIA ends at the point that FIP assistance is not provided to the participant or when a participant becomes exempt.
