Feta. Feta is a semantic discovery tool developed by myGrid team that can be used to search available ser- vices and find those that best match the requirements of the user. It is used combined with the standard web services registry, namely UDDI. 33 ▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇.▇▇▇/ Feta search system allows the user to discover services based on metadata regarding the name of the application involved, operations, inputs, outputs, etc. It helps to find other web services with similar functionality so the user can choose or even replace a non available web service for another one. Feta can be downloaded as a plug-in to the Taverna 1.7.x Workbench and used to search over services that have been annotated with the myGrid ontology. There is no Feta plug-in for Taverna 2.1 Work- bench, where the similar functionality will be provided by the BioCatalogue plug-in.
