Fellow Eligibility Sample Clauses
Fellow Eligibility a. We acknowledge, that in partnering with the Fellow candidate as part of this application, we have verified that the Fellow candidate:
i. Is on track to graduate from law school before June 2025 with a ▇.▇. or LL.M.;
ii. Is or will be new to the practice of law, meaning they have not previously held a full-time (more than 20 hours per week) lawyer position. We understand that applicants from clerkships are eligible, but candidates who have participated in other fellowship programs are not;
iii. Agrees to work full-time as a Fellow, with no outside employment that would interfere with the Fellowship; and
iv. Intends to live or work in New Jersey after the Fellowship ends.
b. We shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, handicap, national origin affectional or sexual orientation, or any other status that is protected by state or federal law, against any person seeking employment as a Summer Associate.
Fellow Eligibility. A Fellow must meet the following criteria prior to the schedule start date of the his/her training with a Fellowship Program: (1) have completed Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery resident training program certified by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (“ACGME”) in good standing, or the equivalent certification for DO candidates and (2) be eligible for Board Certification in Orthopaedic Surgery or Neurosurgery (collectively “Minimum Fellowship Eligibility Criteria”). Further, each Fellowship Program may have eligibility requirements in addition to the Minimum Fellowship Eligibility Criteria (“Specialty Eligibility Criteria”); Applicants must check with particular Fellowship Programs to determine if there are Specialty Eligibility Criteria which may apply, and are responsible for meeting any such requirements prior to the start date of the Fellowship Program.

A Fellow must meet the following criteria prior to the scheduled start date of his/her training with a Fellowship Program: (a) have completed, in good standing, an Orthopedic Surgery medical resident training program certified by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (“ACGME”) and be eligible for Board Certification; (b) be enrolled, in good standing, in a Neurosurgery medical resident training program certified by the ACGME; or (c) for DO or international candidates, meet requirements which are reasonably equivalent to those mentioned in (a) or (b) (collectively “Minimum Fellowship Eligibility Criteria”). Further, each Fellowship Program may have eligibility requirements in addition to the Minimum Fellowship Eligibility Criteria (“Specialty Eligibility Criteria”). Applicants must check with particular Fellowship Programs to determine if there are Specialty Eligibility Criteria which may apply, and are responsible for meeting any such requirements prior to the start date of the Fellowship Program.
