Feed Storage. Livestock feed and tack supplies should be kept in the assigned feed storage areas. It should be kept dry in rodent-proof containers that will keep feed fresh. Empty feed sacks should be placed in the dumpster. Any old or spoiled feed should properly discarded; not poured on the ground. It is recommended that feed containers have a lock on them to prevent theft. Feed bags (except cattle feed) must be in some type of container.
