Feasibility Study Results. The Recipient shall provide a final technical report that reports on the results of the Study. The Feasibility Study Results are to include a detailed description of the original Study objective, scope, methodology, analysis and results. It should report on the Study in sufficient detail that the results could be verified by an independent third party without further research required. This report should describe how the Study addressed unknowns or risks as noted in the original Proposal. The report should also describe next steps with respect to whether or not an Emissions Performance or Innovation Accelerator project will be pursued.

Feasibility Study Results. Total project costs (based on 2008 dollars) varied from $17.9 million for the Xxxxxx Road setback on the Carbon River (site 26) to $2.2 million for the Pacific Park site on the White River (site 31). The total estimated project cost for all 32 sites is $182.2 million, with approximately $100 million in construction costs. The length of levees to be removed ranged between 8,923 feet at the Xxxxxx Road site to 141 feet at the Interurban-White site (site 27), and the length of levee setback ranged from 9,853 feet at Xxxxxx Road to 1,491 feet at the 24th Street East setback (site 29). Most of the proposed setback sites have some combination of privately and publicly owned properties, thus necessitating some level of property acquisition. Implementation of Levee Setback Projects Numerous levee setback projects included in the feasibility study are in some phase of implementation. The White River countyline project (site 32) is largely designed, in permitting, and scheduled for construction in two phases (2010 and 2011); partial funding for construction has been secured. King County is the lead agency for this project. The South Fork site on the Puyallup River (site 14) has 30% design drawings complete, and funding is secured to achieve 100% design and permitting. Construction grant funding will be applied for in 2010. The Xxxxxx Road site on the Carbon River (site 26) has 30% design drawings and property acquisition is ongoing. The Calistoga and 190th Avenue downstream sites on the Puyallup River (sites 18 and 19) are in the conceptual design and acquisition phase. The City of Orting is the lead agency for this project. Funding is proposed for final design and acquisition of three parcels to support construction of the setback. The 24th Street East setback site (site 29) on the White River is owned by the City of Xxxxxx, and funding for 30% design work is proposed. In addition, private and public interests are actively examining the feasibility of advancing setback projects at the Sumner setback (site 5) and the golf course oxbow setback (site 4) near Puyallup.
