Father. Employees who have completed ninety days of the probationary period are entitled to one (1) day of paid bereavement leave to attend the funeral of the following relatives who are not considered under the definition of “Immediate Family”. This paid leave is granted in recognition of the need to support those family members who may be more directly involved. Family members in this category are:

If both spouses work for the State or another organization participating in the State's Group Insurance Program, neither spouse may be covered as a dependent by the other, unless one spouse is not eligible for a full Employer Contribution as defined in Section 3A. Effective January 1, 2015 if both spouses work for the State or another organization participating in the State’s Group Insurance Program, a spouse may be covered as a dependent by the other.

  • Christmas or New Year's Day Off The Employer agrees to make every reasonable effort to ensure that employees required to work shift shall have at least Christmas Day or the following New Year's Day off.
