As an FTA grantee, SANDAG is required to inform the Contractor of the following information: The Contractor recognizes that the requirements of the Program Fraud Civil Remedies Act of 1986, as amended, 49 U.S.C. Section 3801, et seq., and U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, "Program Fraud Civil Remedies," 49 CFR, Part 31, apply to its actions pertaining to this contract. Accordingly, by signing the contract, the Contractor certifies or affirms the truthfulness and accuracy of any statement it has made, it makes, or it may make pertaining to the contract.
