Fall Graduation Clause Samples

The "Fall Graduation" clause defines the terms and conditions related to a student's completion of academic requirements and eligibility to graduate at the end of the fall semester. It typically outlines the necessary deadlines for submitting graduation applications, completing coursework, and fulfilling any outstanding obligations such as fees or documentation. This clause ensures that students and the institution are aligned on the process and timing for fall semester graduations, helping to prevent misunderstandings and ensuring a smooth transition to post-graduation activities.
Fall Graduation. A resident who withdraws from the residential facility for reasons of mid-year graduation must notify the Assignments Office in writing by December 1. Notice must be given and approved prior to when the residence halls open for the spring semester; otherwise, the resident will be assessed prorated rent charges and the cancellation charge as well as improper checkout charges (see Section 6, Cancellation Policy).
Fall Graduation. A fall graduate will be released from this Housing Contract at the end of the fall semester if the Resident submits the Request to Cancel form by December 1. Fall Graduates on an Extended Contract will receive a refund or credit for one month’s rent. Spring graduates may not cancel this Housing Contract and are financially responsible until the end of the Contract Period.
