Common use of Failed Transactions Clause in Contracts

Failed Transactions. In using our Online Bill Paying service, you are requesting us to make payments for you from your Payment Account. You understand that Payees and/or the United States Postal Service may return failed payments to us unprocessed and not credited to your account for various reasons. These reasons include, but are not limited to, attempting to send a payment to a Payee with an expired forwarding address; the Payee account number is not valid; the Payee is unable to locate your account; or the Payee account is paid in full and no further payments are accepted. We will use our best efforts to research and correct the returned payment and return it to your Payee as appropriate, or to void the payment and credit your Payment Account.
