Faculty Input Clause Samples
The Faculty Input clause establishes a formal process for faculty members to provide feedback, recommendations, or expertise on specific matters within an institution or project. Typically, this clause outlines how and when faculty input is solicited, such as through committees, surveys, or meetings, and may specify the types of decisions or policies that require faculty consultation. Its core practical function is to ensure that faculty perspectives are considered in decision-making, promoting transparency and collaborative governance.
Faculty Input. The College is responsible for creating the tools of evaluation. When those tools change substantially, the College will gather input from the faculty through Faculty Senate.
Faculty Input. 4.6.1 The School agrees to seek faculty input in school decisions materially impacting curricular or extracurricular programs which require Board action. Additionally, bargaining unit members may submit input regarding curricular, extra-curricular, facilities, or other issues to School management without fear of reprisal. Failure to implement such input shall not be grievable.
