FACTORY TESTS Sample Clauses

The FACTORY TESTS clause establishes requirements for testing products or equipment at the manufacturer's facility before delivery to the buyer. Typically, it outlines the types of tests to be performed, the standards or procedures to be followed, and may specify the buyer's right to witness or review the results of these tests. This clause ensures that products meet agreed-upon specifications and quality standards prior to shipment, thereby reducing the risk of defects and disputes after delivery.

FACTORY TESTS. Owner may, at Owner's option and cost, be -------------- present at any factory testing conducted by Vendor. Vendor shall give the Owner ten (10) Business Days advance notice of any such factory testing relating to the Products or Services furnished by Vendor hereunder. Vendor shall cooperate with Owner to facilitate Owner's observation of such tests. Regardless of whether or not Owner observes any factory testing, Vendor agrees to, within a reasonable period of time in view of the nature and urgency of the request, upon written request by Owner, provide Owner with copies of all documentation relating to factory testing of the Product specified by Owner, including without limitation copies of test procedures, test results and FCC compliance certifications.
FACTORY TESTS. The Contractor will perform all necessary testing and measurements required to demonstrate compliance with the specifications stated in chapter 3 of the Contract documents prior to delivery.
FACTORY TESTS. Contractor shall perform all customary or required factory tests of all of the Materials in accordance with the requirements set forth in Exhibit A or Exhibit R or by Owner Standards. Contractor shall issue a test memorandum to Owner no later than thirty (30) Days prior to the commencement of each factory test, which memorandum shall describe the factory test to be performed, the applicable item of Material being tested, the standards and method of testing, and the testing facility’s capabilities and shall state a proposed test date. Owner’s Representative and the representative of the Independent Engineer shall be permitted to attend and participate in all such factory tests. Contractor shall provide the results of such required factory tests to Owner within ten (10) Days of the completion of each such factory test. Successful completion of such factory test shall be a precondition to shipment of the tested item of Material.
FACTORY TESTS. .1 Submit test certificates as prescribed in the relevant section of the specifications.

FACTORY TESTS. Cricket may, at Cricket’s option and cost, be present at any factory testing conducted by Vendor. Upon request, Vendor shall give Cricket ten (10) Business Days advance notice of any such factory testing relating to the types of Products or Services furnished by Vendor hereunder. Vendor shall cooperate with Cricket to facilitate Cricket’s observation of such tests. Regardless of whether or not Cricket observes any factory testing, Vendor agrees to provide Cricket with copies of all documentation relating to factory testing of the Product specified by Cricket, including without limitation copies of test procedures, test results and FCC compliance certifications.
FACTORY TESTS. A. The switchgear equipment shall receive factory production tests as listed below and meet EEMAC Std G8-2: 1. Visual and Mechanical Checks: a. Grounding of instrument cases b. Device Check – Visual inspection of device catalog number to verify compliance to specification c. Bus Check – Visual Check of buses d. Clearance Check – Inspect buses for proper electrical clearances e. Connection Check– Torque all bolted connections to NEC standards f. Nameplate Check – Verify Nameplate engraving and location per drawings
FACTORY TESTS. 8.1 If the parties have agreed to have factory tests on Goods to be delivered, these shall be carried out at the place of manufacture during normal working hours. The Buyer shall be notified in advance of such tests, and may be represented at the tests. If the Buyer is not represented, the test report shall be sent to the Buyer and accepted as accurate. The Buyer shall bear the costs for acceptance tests unless otherwise agreed in writing, provided however that Fluid Control shall remedy all defects found in the test at its costs.
FACTORY TESTS. A. The Engineer reserves the right to witness the factory testing. Inform the Project Representative and the Engineer at least 30 days prior to the factory tests. Assemble the pumps at the factory and subject the equipment to a series of tests as follows: 1. Test shall be completed in accordance with ANSI/HI 14.6 (vertical pump tests). 2. Test setup in the manufacturer’s test facility shall duplicate as closely as possible the inlet 3. Test shall use appropriately sized VFDs for the design. Test shall include test data for each Condition Point (A, B, C, and D) and any other points stipulated for this test procedure. 5. Test data at the full speed operating conditions shall include shaft vibration and case noise. 6. NPSH3 tests shall also be performed to confirm the data used to establish NPSHA margin for each specified operating condition as specified within this Section. NPSH3 tests shall be on one of the 16 MGD pumps and two of the 10 MGD pumps. For the County’s factory test witness will select the three pumps for testing. All NPSH3 test shall extend from 30 percent to 140 percent of the Best Efficiency Flow at full speed, or to not less than 10 percent (in terms of flow) past the flow at Operating Condition A, whichever is greater. Failure to achieve guaranteed performance or performance proposed in accepted submittal documents, whichever is the more restrictive (capacity and head, efficiency or NPSH3) shall be cause for rejection. B. Test data shall include separate readings of inlet and discharge head for each data point. Not less than 10 test points shall be taken, including not less than 4 within +/- 8 percent (on the basis of rated flow) of the rated condition (Condition Point A) and not less than 2 test points within +/- 4 percent of the pump best efficiency point at the test speed. In addition, one test point shall be sufficient to define head and power requirements at shutoff head.
FACTORY TESTS. A. The following transformer tests shall be performed. The following standards shall be used for completing the test: IEEE C57.12.00, IEEE C57.12.10, IEEE C57.12.90, IEEE C57.91, IEEE C57.98, IEEE C57.109, IEEE C57.113 and IEEE C57.131. 1. Resistance measurement of all windings on the full winding tap position of each unit. Use 2,500 V test equipment and correct to 20°C temperature reference. 2. Ratio tests on the rated voltage connection and on all tap connections. 3. Polarity and phase relation tests on the rated voltage connection. 4. No-load (excitation) loss at rated frequency and at 100 percent and 110 percent of rated voltages.
