FACSIMILE REPRESENTATIONS. The County and the Contractor hereby agree to regard facsimile representations of original signatures of authorized officers of each party, when appearing in appropriate places on this document, Change Notices, and Amendments prepared pursuant to Sub-paragraph 8.4, and received via communications facilities, as legally sufficient evidence that such original signatures have been affixed to Change Notices and Amendments to this Contract, such that the parties need not follow up facsimile transmissions of such documents with subsequent (non-facsimile) transmission of “original” versions of such documents.
