Extra Hours Pay. Extra assignment work performed by employees outside the standard workday shall be paid at the employee’s regular rate of pay or overtime when appropriate. When accepting extra work assignments to support students, employees will travel to the assignment with the student using district transportation. If district transportation is not provided for the employee, the employee shall use their own transportation and will be reimbursed for mileage if the total round-trip distance exceeds 50 miles.
