External Modules Clause Samples
The External Modules clause defines the rules and permissions regarding the use of third-party or external software modules within a project or agreement. Typically, this clause outlines whether such modules can be incorporated, under what licensing terms, and who is responsible for ensuring compliance with those terms. For example, it may require that all external modules be open source or pre-approved by a project manager. Its core function is to manage legal and operational risks associated with integrating external code, ensuring that all parties are aware of and adhere to relevant licensing and compatibility requirements.
