Extended Additional Contract Administration Services Sample Clauses
The "Extended Additional Contract Administration Services" clause defines the architect's or consultant's responsibility to provide contract administration services beyond the originally agreed project scope or timeline. This typically applies when a project experiences delays, changes in scope, or unforeseen circumstances that require the professional to remain involved after the initial contract period. For example, if construction is delayed and the architect must continue site visits or review additional contractor submissions, these services would be covered under this clause. Its core function is to clarify the terms and compensation for extra administrative work, ensuring both parties understand when and how such services are provided and paid for, thereby preventing disputes over scope and fees.
