EXPERIMENTAL WORK Sample Clauses

EXPERIMENTAL WORK. Before the start of survey operations, the company may decide to carry out experimental work in order to decide/modify the field parameters. The field layout and other technical details will be explained to contractor by OIL's representative. The experimental work will be carried out as per the instructions of the company representative. Apart from this, during the initial 1/2 days of seismic survey, the labourers need to be trained in laying of field electronics, and the same needs to be tested in field. Charges equivalent to experimental rates will be paid for these 1/2 days for field testing. The experimental work/field testing will not be for more than 15 days under normal circumstances during the contractual period.

EXPERIMENTAL WORK. Each party performing Experimental Work under this Agreement shall be compensated by the other party for the true and accurate costs incurred by it. The cost shall be computed on the basis of the hourly manpower rates prevailing at the time of the performance of the work in the party performing the Experimental Work and shall consist of the following: 1) cost of the personnel performing the work under this Agreement plus prorated overhead cost of the respective department; 2) other costs directly incurred in the performance of the work under this Agreement, e.g.consumption of factory supplies, energy and the like, depreciation on buildings and machinery, services of other departments, travel expenses, transportation costs plus prorated overhead costs for the administration of the foregoing. In addition to the compensation of actual cost hereunder the party performing the project work shall be entitled to a surplus benefit of ten percent (10%) of the true and accurate costs incurred by it as consideration for making laboratory capacity available. The aforementioned costs and surplus benefits shall be computed on a quarterly basis by the party performing the project work under this Agreement and be paid by the other party no later than thirty (30) days after presentation of the invoice.

EXPERIMENTAL WORK. Where either the goods and services to be provided by the Company are of an experimental or development nature or where the Contract otherwise so provides or expressly or by implication, the Company will use all reasonable endeavour to execute the Contract but if it proves impossible, impracticable or uneconomical to carry out the same, the Company reserves the right to cancel the Contract or the uncompleted balance thereof, in which event the Customer will only be liable to pay for the work or part of the contract actually done or performed.

EXPERIMENTAL WORK. Experimental or preliminary work performed at the customer's request will be charged at current rates.
