Expanded Interpretation Clause Samples
The Expanded Interpretation clause broadens the way terms and provisions within a contract are understood and applied. It typically clarifies that references to the singular include the plural, references to one gender include all genders, and that headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation. This clause ensures that the contract is interpreted in a flexible and inclusive manner, reducing the risk of disputes over technicalities or narrow readings of the language.
