Existing Work Practices. The parties to this Agreement acknowledge that existing work practices and processes are not necessarily the most efficient for the enterprise, or rewarding to the employee in terms of job satisfaction. It is therefore agreed that the parties will develop and undertake a program for the revision of work practices as follows: 3.9.1.1 All existing work practices including management practices will be reviewed with the full participation of employees with the objective of practices being adopted which fully utilise skills and experience of employees, and which are efficient and effective. 3.9.1.2 The process of review will have the fullest possible participation of employees, and will be monitored by the Consultative Committee. 3.9.1.3 There will be provision made for such training of employees as is necessary for them to adapt to new practices.

  • Work Practices Where the Employer provides overtime, a minimum of one hour shall be provided which shall be worked. When on Employee and the Employer mutually agree, less than an hour overtime may be worked, which shall then be paid pro rata for overtime worked. Overtime shall be offered on a fair and equitable basis with an agreed roster being observed at the Refinery.

  • Data Practices Supplier and Sourcewell acknowledge Sourcewell is subject to the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, Minnesota Statutes Chapter 13. As it applies to all data created and maintained in performance of this Agreement, Supplier may be subject to the requirements of this chapter.

  • FAIR PRACTICES The Union agrees to maintain its eligibility to represent all employees by continuing to admit persons to membership without discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, sex or marital status and to represent equally all employees without regard to membership or participation in, or association with the activities of any employee organization. The Board agrees to continue its policy of not discriminating against any employee on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, sex, marital status or membership or participation in, or association with the activities of, any employee organization.

  • Policies and Practices The employment relationship between the Parties shall be governed by this Agreement and the policies and practices established by the Company and the Board of Directors (hereinafter referred to as the “Board”). In the event that the terms of this Agreement differ from or are in conflict with the Company’s policies or practices or the Company’s Employee Handbook, this Agreement shall control.

  • Hiring Practices The Board shall, in all instances, employ teachers who are properly credentialed in accordance with applicable state laws, Washington Administrative Code, and by such other requirements as specified by the Office of the State Superintendent of Public Education. Classified personnel shall not be assigned to perform work in the instructional setting which will replace a currently employed certificated employee in his assignment or employment.
