Common use of Existing Material Clause in Contracts

Existing Material. (a) Clause 9.1 does not affect the ownership of any Intellectual Property rights in any Existing Material. (b) The State grants (or must procure for) the Commonwealth, a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free and licence fee-free, world-wide, non-exclusive licence (including a right of sub-licence) to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, perform, broadcast, communicate and exploit the Existing Material as part of, or in conjunction with the Services.
