Existing Facility Utilization Plan. PSA-D will analyze the existing Village Hall, Police Station, Fleet Services and Transportation Services, Social and Health Services, and Fie ld Space for Public Works Inventory in terms of space allocation, functional adjacencies, and operational flows. We have learned that Staff will view the new building through the eyes of the old facility. It is necessary for planners and designers to cle arly understand the existing facility in order to plan for a successful new facility. We will create new electronic drawing files of each building based on current drawings provided to us by the Village. The fee agreed upon is based on this fact. If complete drawings are not provided or require extensive field verification to attain accuracy, then additional hours and fees will be required by PSA-D. In addition, PSA-D will assess the current condition of building systems to include the structural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building envelope. This section of the final report will record findings and make recommendations regarding suitability for remodeling, reuse and expansion. Deliverables: Floor plan drawings of each facility with color-coded depiction of current space being utilized by each department. Written description prepared by each A/E discipline of building system condition and suitability for expansion/remodeling. Estimated Hours: 90 Estimated Compensation: $14,000.00
