Exclusions from Coverage. The Plan does not cover any loss, repairs or damage caused by or resulting from: pre-existing conditions incurred or known to you (pre-existing means a condition that within all reasonable mechanical probability relates to the mechanical fitness of your covered merchandise prior to Plan issuance); improper packaging and/or transportation damage during shipment to a service center or relocation of the covered equipment; installation, removal, reinstallation or improper installation of components, upgrades, attachments or peripherals; damage or other equipment failure due to causes beyond our control such as environmental conditions, exposure to weather conditions or acts of nature including, but not limited to: fire, floods, smoke, sand, dirt, lightning, moisture or water damage, freezes, storms, wind or windstorm, hail, earthquake, etc.; damage or failure caused by riot, nuclear radiation, war or hostile action, radioactive contamination, etc.; battery failure or leakage; collision with another object, collapse, explosion, liquid spillage of any kind by any owner, employee, third party, repair personnel, etc., unless covered under a service plan which specifically includes any of the defined causes; interruption of gas or electrical service; neglect, negligence, misuse, abuse, intentional physical/mechanical/electronic damage or malicious mischief, theft or mysterious disappearance, vandalism, rust, corrosion, warping, bending, animal or insect infestation, etc. to the covered product or any component; accidental damage, including physical/mechanical/electronic damage cause by dropping; damage, warping, bending or rusting of any kind to the housing, cabinetry, outside casing or frame of the product or any non- operating part, including but not limited to plastic, or decorative parts such as hinges, knobs, door liners, glass, handles, masks, rack rollers, shelves, etc.; loss of or repair to any components within the product not originally covered by the manufacturer’s warranty or are considered expendable or consumer replaceable items and are designed to be consumed during the life of the covered product such as but not limited to, lamps, bulbs, tubes, filters, lint screens, external hoses, baskets or buckets, cords, wiring, cables, fuses, keypads, switches, connectors, batteries, toner, ribbons, belts, gaskets, drums, developer, ink or ink cartridges or any other parts or materials which are designed to be consumed during the life of the covered product; i...

In the event that coverage is excluded for any Loan, the Company will refund all premium for that Loan for the period following the occurrence of the event giving rise to such exclusion. Except where prohibited by law, if the damage to the Company arising from an excluded event can be reasonably quantified, the Company shall adjust the Claim Amount by the amount of such damage rather than exclude coverage altogether for such Loan, unless a refund of premium as provided for in the preceding sentence would provide a greater payment to the Insured.

Exclusions from Coverage. The maintenance services to be provided hereunder do not include labour or parts for repairs made necessary by damage from any cause beyond the control of Shiji, including, but not limited to, damage due to fire, wind, water, storm, riot, vandalism, war, act of God, burglary, power line fluctuations outside of specified norms, accident, negligence or abuse not attributable to Shiji or a Shiji service representative. Shiji specifically excludes repair or damage as a result of servicing by personnel other than Shiji, or its service representative, repair or damage resulting from the failure of the Client to render routine attention to covered products as defined herein, and damages to printer heads or motors resulting from any cause other than normal wear and tear or the presence of foreign objects between the printer head and the print surface. Any repairs resulting from excluded causes or events will be performed only at the Client’s request and only after the Client’s approval of estimated costs for repair submitted by Xxxxx. There may be other exclusions from coverage contained elsewhere in the Agreement. Xxxxx shall support the hardware hereunder for a period of not less than 3 years. The Client recognizes that third parties manufacture certain parts and components required to maintain and repair the hardware hereunder, including Shiji proprietary hardware itself. Shiji does not and cannot guarantee the availability of any third-party parts or components, and therefore is not in breach if unable to maintain or repair hardware as a result of the unavailability of any third-party parts or components. Shiji disclaims all liability arising from its reasonable inability to obtain third-party parts or components necessary or appropriate in the repair or maintenance of the hardware hereunder.
Exclusions from Coverage. This contract does not cover any of the following: Service if the vehicle(s) covered under this contract is not directly involved in the service event request. Towing or service while at an auto repair shop or service station to another location. This is considered auto transport, a non-covered event. WE may be able to provide service for an on-demand fee. Towing or service on Restricted Roadways. Please contact law enforcement officials to manage the event. If WE are not then able to directly service the event, please follow the General Reimbursement guidelines as defined within this agreement. Towing or service on roads not regularly maintained (including private property), or in areas not regularly traveled, such as vacant lots, beaches, open fields, or other places that would be hazardous for service vehicles to reach. This is considered a non-standard event. WE may be able to provide service however additional expenses may apply. Immediate towing or service coverage if there are unsafe conditions for the service provider. Unsafe conditions involve ice, sleet, snow, mud, or other environmental conditions that may delay service until conditions improve. Unsafe conditions in direct proximity to the disabled vehicle may require a Winch in order for service to continue. If vehicle requires another service beyond the Winch, it will be considered a second event. Service when a vehicle is snowbound. WE do not shovel vehicle from unplowed areas, snowbanks, snowbound driveways, or curbside parking. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure vehicle is accessible. WE may be able to winch in a snowy environment subject to the discretion of the service provider. If vehicle requires another service beyond the Winch, it will be considered a second event. Installation or removal of snow tires and chains during roadside service. Towing or service if disabled vehicle is in a dangerous roadway location such as in or near a heavy traffic environment. Please contact law enforcement officials to manage the situation into a safe location. If WE are not then able to directly service the event, please follow the General Reimbursement guidelines as defined within this agreement. Service if you are not with the vehicle. However, unattended service is allowable for Towing, Winch and Flat Tire.
