Excess Provision Clause Samples
Excess Provision. The Benefit Amount for Excess Accident Medical Expense is payable on an excess basis. We will determine the Reasonable and Customary Charge for the covered Medical Expense. We will then reduce that amount by amounts already paid or payable by any Other Plan. We will pay the resulting amount, less the Deductible for Excess Accident Medical Expense but in no event will We pay more than the Benefit Amount for Excess Accident Medical Expense, shown in Section IV-C of the Schedule of Benefits.
Excess Provision. In respect of all person(s) aged over 70 (seventy) years old, the Excess is increased from the amount stated in the Schedules of Compensation to €500.00.
Excess Provision. The Maximum Benefit Amount for Accident Medical Expense is payable on an excess basis. We will determine the Reasonable and Customary Charge for the covered Medical Expense. We will then reduce that amount by amounts already paid or payable by any Other Plan. We will pay the resulting amount less the Deductible. In no event will We pay more than the Maximum Benefit Amount for Accident Medical Expense, shown in Section IV-C of the Schedule of Benefits. The Deductible for Accident Medical Expense, shown in Section IV-C of the Schedule of Benefits, will be deducted from any Benefit Amount for Accident Medical Expense that We pay. This Deductible applies separately to each Insured Person and each Accident.
Excess Provision. Benefits payable for the eligible expenses under this Benefit will be limited to that part of the eligible expense, if any, which is in excess of the total benefits payable under any other valid and collectible insurance or other indemnity. If the other valid and collectible insurance or indemnity provides benefits on an excess coverage basis, benefits will be paid first by the insurer or services plan whose coverage has been in effect for the longer period of time. For purposes of this Benefit, an Insured’s entitlement to other valid and collectible insurance or indemnity will be determined as if this Benefit did not exist and will not depend on whether timely application for benefits from other valid and collectible insurance or indemnity is made by or on behalf of the Insured. Benefits payable will be reduced to the extent that benefits for expenses are covered by any other valid and collectible insurance or indemnity whether or not a claim is made for such benefits.

We will then reduce that amount by amounts already paid or payable by any Other Plan. We will pay the resulting amount, less the Deductible for Heart or Circulatory Malfunction. In no event will We pay more than the Benefit Amount for Heart or Circulatory Malfunction shown in Section IV-C of the Schedule of Benefits. The Benefit Amount is payable only for expenses incurred within the Incurral Period, shown in Section IV-C of the Schedule of Benefits, after the date of the Covered Activity causing the Accidental Bodily Injury.
Excess Provision. This policy does not cover treatment or services for which benefits are payable or service is available under and other valid and collectible insurance available to the student-athlete, including Worker’s Compensation and automobile no-fault insurance.
