Exceptional Services Clause Samples
The Exceptional Services clause defines the terms under which a service provider may be asked to perform work outside the scope of the original agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the process for requesting such additional services, including requirements for written approval, and may specify how compensation for these services will be determined, such as through separate fees or rates. Its core function is to ensure both parties have a clear understanding of how extra or unforeseen work will be handled, thereby preventing disputes over scope and payment.

4.8.2 The performance of Exceptional Services shall entitle the Consultant to extra time necessary for their performance and to payment for performing them.
