Common use of Excavation Clause in Contracts

Excavation. If an excavation shall be made upon land adjacent to the Leased Premises, or shall be authorized to be made, Tenant shall afford to the person causing or authorized to cause such excavation, license to enter upon the Leased Premises for the purpose of doing such work as said person shall deem necessary to preserve the wall or the building of which the Leased Premises form a part from injury or damage and to support the same by proper foundation, without any claim for damages or indemnity from Landlord, or diminution or abatement of rent.

Excavation. If an excavation shall be is made upon land of property adjacent to the Leased Premises, or shall be authorized to be made, Tenant shall and does hereby afford to the person causing or authorized to cause such excavation, an irrevocable license to enter upon the Leased Premises for the purpose of doing such work as said person Landlord shall deem necessary to preserve the wall or of the building of which the Leased Premises form are a part from injury or damage and to support the same by proper foundationfoundations or other means, without any claim for damages or indemnity from Landlord, against Landlord or diminution or abatement of rent.
