Common use of Events of Force Majeure Clause in Contracts

Events of Force Majeure. 18.1. We shall not be liable to you for any partial or non- performance of our obligations hereunder by reason of any cause beyond our reasonable control, such as technological or other system failures or in the case of Force Majeure Event, as defined below under Clause 18.2, provided that in such cases we shall, to the extent reasonably possible, act in line with our obligations to act for the best interest of our clients and treat you fairly. Following the occurrence of a Force Majeure Event, we will inform the FCA and take reasonable steps to inform you.
