Escrow Release to EBERO. ICANN will receive escrow releases directly from the escrow agent, then will use an ICANN key and re- encrypt the data using the EBERO’s public key. ICANN will provide the set of escrow files within 2 hours of receipt, unless modifications are required to the escrow data as described in Section 3.5.4.1
Escrow Release to EBERO. ICANN will receive escrow releases directly from the escrow agent, then will use an ICANN key and re- encrypt the data using the EBERO’s public key. In either event, the specific communication channel used to transmit escrow data to the EBERO is to be determined. If an ICANN public key is used in the escrow release, then ICANN will provide a properly decrypted (and, as needed, re-encrypted using an EBERO provided public key) within 2 hours of receipt. This process is described in section 7 Escrow Release Protocol and Procedures for EBEROs.
