Common use of Equipment Calibration Clause in Contracts

Equipment Calibration. Institution shall be responsible for ensuring Institution-owned equipment utilized by Institution in accordance with this Agreement, is serviced and/or calibrated as per manufacturer’s recommendation or more frequently as required by Sponsor. Records verifying the equipment calibration and maintenance shall be provided to Sponsor upon request. For calibrations that are performed solely at the request of Sponsor, and that are not part of the recommended scheduled maintenance suggested by manufacturer, Sponsor will reimburse Institution for the actual cost without mark-up for each calibration. Processing of payment will begin upon receipt of invoice and supporting documentation in accordance with paragraph f) below.
