EQUALITY AND DISCRIMINATION. 26.1 The LHBs undertake, in relation to the provision of the Relevant Services by the Joint Committee to the public or any member of the public, to exercise the role of the Joint Committee so as to have regard to the need to eliminate discrimination, and other prohibited conduct, in accordance with human rights and equality legislation.
EQUALITY AND DISCRIMINATION. ‌ 15.1 The Supplier shall comply with all applicable Equalities Legislation in its performance of this Agreement and shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that all servants, employees, agents and Subcontractors engaged in the provision of the Services and/or provision of the Goods do not unlawfully discriminate, harass or victimise within the meaning and scope of the Equalities Legislation. This Clause 15.1 is without prejudice to the Supplier‘s general obligation to comply with Legislation. 15.2 The Supplier shall not at any time unlawfully discriminate in relation to employing any person for the purposes of performing the Services and/or providing the Goods on the grounds of any of the Protected Characteristics or temporary or part-time or agency status in employment or otherwise. For the purposes of this Clause 15.2, employing a person shall include recruiting, appointing, selecting, training, promoting, remunerating, subjecting to a detriment, disciplining and dismissing. 15.3 Without prejudice to the generality of Clauses 15.1 and 15.2, the Supplier shall at all times comply with the Equality Act 2010 (“2010 Act”) in respect of its treatment of its employees and in the performance of the Services and/or provision of the Goods. In particular, the Supplier shall in its performance of this Agreement take (and shall ensure that its servants, agents, employees and Subcontractors take) all reasonable steps to eliminate unlawful discrimination, harassment, victimisation and any other conduct that is prohibited by or under the 2010 Act; advance equality of opportunity between persons who share a relevant protected characteristic (as defined in the 2010 Act) and persons who do not share it; and ▇▇▇▇▇▇ good relations between persons who share such a protected characteristic and persons who do not share it. 15.4 The Supplier shall comply with the Equality Act 2010 Code of Practice on Employment and the Equality Act 2010 Code of Practice on Equal Pay (Codes) (or any replacement guidance and/or publication) issued by the Equality and Human Rights Commission in respect of its treatment of its employees and in the performance of the Services and/or provision of the Goods. EQUALITY AND DISCRIMINATION. At no given point will discrimination based on ethnicity, color, creed, race, gender, disability or personality be tolerated on any of the communication platforms, such as social media sites and comment sections on the website, if any. Dell Technologies possesses the full right to ban and revoke authorization of participating students if any material it deems inappropriate to its code of ethics.

EQUALITY AND DISCRIMINATION. 2.1 This protocol is not a policy on Gypsies or Travellers; rather it is a protocol on the agreed response to reports of persons residing as trespassers on land. It is, however, recognised that many unauthorised encampments will contain Gypsies or Travellers. 2.2 The Equality Act 2010 places a duty on public authorities to eliminate unlawful discrimination and to promote equality of opportunity and good race relations in carrying out their functions. This duty covers all racial groups, including Gypsies and Irish Travellers who are recognised ethnic groups. 2.3 Local Authorities and Police must always be able to show that they have properly considered the race and equalities implications of their policies/protocols and actions in relation to unauthorised encampments. They must be able to demonstrate that their policies/protocols and actions are proportionate, bearing in mind all the circumstances of the case. 2.4 The protocol recognises that Gypsies and Travellers have the right to live a nomadic lifestyle. Under this protocol, action will be considered only where it is proportionate and necessary to protect the rights and property of businesses and the Human Rights of individuals or communities. Action will not be taken against people simply because they are different from others or engage in activities which are different.
EQUALITY AND DISCRIMINATION. 4.2.1 The Provider shall: (a) perform its obligations under this Contract in accordance with all applicable equality laws, the Council’s equality and diversity policies and any other requirements and instructions which the Council reasonably imposes upon the Provider at any time under applicable equality law; (b) not unlawfully discriminate within the meaning and scope of any law, enactment, order or regulation relating to discrimination (whether in race, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, age or otherwise); (c) At all times comply with the provisions of the Human Rights ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ in the performance of this Contract and shall assist the Council in ensuring it is able to comply with its obligations under the Human Rights ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇. 4.2.2 The Provider shall take all reasonable steps to secure the observance of Clause 4.2.1 by all servants, employees or agents of the Provider and all Provider s and sub-Providers employed in the execution of the Contract. 4.2.3 The Council is under a duty to comply with the Modern Slavery ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ (the MSA) and the Provider shall assist the Council in complying with its duty under the MSA by reporting any incidents or concerns of modern slavery as soon as reasonable grounds to suspect are made. 4.2.4 If because of its turnover, the Provider is under a duty to comply with the obligations of the MSA with respect to disclosure and transparency, it must do so.
EQUALITY AND DISCRIMINATION. 9.1 Throughout the Grant Period, the Recipient shall comply with the requirements of all applicable laws relating to equality, including the Equality Act 2010 and the Human Rights Act 1998 or other relevant legislation. 9.2 The Recipient shall protect against discrimination on the grounds of race, sex, gender reassignment, religion or belief, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy, maternity, age or otherwise, and shall promote race equality, equal opportunities and anti-discrimination in relation to its obligations under this Agreement and also in relation to the Recipient’s related employment and/or subcontracting practices. 9.3 In addition to its legal obligations, the Recipient shall support the Council in fulfilling its Public Sector Equality duty under S149 of the Equality Act 2010 by ensuring that it fulfils its obligations under this Agreement in a way that seeks to:
