Equal Standards Clause Samples
The Equal Standards clause ensures that all parties to an agreement are held to the same requirements, obligations, or performance criteria. In practice, this means that neither party can impose stricter standards or more burdensome conditions on the other than those they themselves are subject to; for example, both parties may be required to meet the same quality benchmarks or compliance protocols. The core function of this clause is to promote fairness and prevent one-sided arrangements by guaranteeing that expectations and responsibilities are balanced and reciprocal.
