The TCP/IP-based ENX network (European Network Exchange) operated by several providers offers variable transmission speeds between 64 kbit/s (dial-in connection) and 34 Mbit/s (dedicated line). It thus allows transmission speeds that other types of connection cannot provide. The ENX network also has very high availability and – unlike the other types of connection – it allows very secure automatic encryption of data during transmission.
