EnvironmentalClearances Clause Samples
The Environmental Clearances clause requires that all necessary permits, approvals, and authorizations related to environmental laws and regulations are obtained before proceeding with a project or transaction. In practice, this means the responsible party must secure documentation from relevant government agencies confirming compliance with environmental standards, such as waste management or emissions controls, prior to commencing construction or operations. This clause ensures that the project does not face legal or regulatory delays due to environmental non-compliance, thereby allocating responsibility and reducing the risk of future penalties or shutdowns.
