Environmental Considerations. State entities subject to Executive Order No. 4 are advised to become familiar with the specification for Photovoltaic (PV) Systems (available at: ▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇.▇▇.▇▇▇/EO/4/docs/Finals/PV_Systems.pdf) that was developed in accordance with the Order, and to incorporate the specification, to the extent applicable, when making purchases under this Contract. This specification includes the following requirements: Affected entities shall provide PV Systems that are designed and specified on a case by case basis and which include PV panels or modules with the following minimum requirements: • Compliance with these standards and listings as applicable. o IEC Standard 61215 (testing of crystalline silicon modules) o IEC Standard 61646 (testing of thin film modules) o IEC Standard 61730 (safety testing for PV Modules) o UL 1703 (flat plate) o IEEE 1262 (flat plate) • Systems should be installed by a qualified contractor certified as an installer by NABCEP. • 25 year 80% minimum rated power performance guarantee. • Minimum efficiency ratings.
