Engine Failure definition

Engine Failure means any failure of an engine’s electrical system, emission control module, fuel delivery system, or mechanical parts that necessitates the removal of the engine from service.

  • For purposes of this guarantee, “an engine caused AOG” is defined as an event in which one of Airline’s Engine-powered Aircraft is unavailable for scheduled revenue service solely as a result of an Engine Failure.
