Energization Clause Samples
The Energization clause defines the process and conditions under which a facility, equipment, or system is first supplied with electrical power and becomes operational. Typically, this clause outlines the prerequisites that must be met before energization can occur, such as completion of safety checks, inspections, and regulatory approvals. For example, it may specify that all commissioning activities are finalized and relevant parties are notified prior to energizing the system. The core function of this clause is to ensure a safe, coordinated, and compliant transition to operational status, thereby minimizing risks associated with the initial application of electrical power.
