Common use of Encoding Clause in Contracts

Encoding. The parties may elect to have separate encoding facilities and have one combiner to join the separate streams together for transmission if technically possible, or the parties may elect to have one encoding pool. Each party shall have the right to monitor and audit the Shared Channel’s encoding system to ensure compliance with Section 2.1. Each party shall make all records of such encoding available to the other upon written request during normal business hours.
