EMT Certification. All uniformed employees excluding Emergency Vehicle Technician/Certified and the civilian Fire Inspector must possess and maintain at all times the SD Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification as a minimum qualification for employment with the City in those classifications. For all eligible employees covered by this Agreement who are required to possess EMT certification by this Article, the City shall pay for or provide the required training.
