Emergency Trips and Seniority. When trips must be assigned on an emergency basis (less than two [2] days posting), the following procedure shall be used: A. Drivers shall be assigned in order of their standing on the rotating list. B. Drivers who cannot accept the trip shall not be rotated to the bottom of the list. Neither shall the driver taking the trip be rotated. C. Pay for extra driving shall be at the driver’s regular hourly rate of pay. D. The rule of three [3] consecutive passes shall not apply to emergency trips.
