Emergency Surcharge. In the event of a drought, catastrophe or other extraordinary condition that requires emergency expenditures to maintain a sufficient water supply, Seattle may impose an emergency surcharge on all holders of Full and Partial Requirements Contracts in order to pay for such expenditures and/or maintain financial stability of the Seattle Water Supply System. Any such emergency surcharge shall be presented to the Operating Board prior to adoption by Seattle. Seattle shall consider the comments of the Operating Board but shall nevertheless have the full authority to adopt the charge.

Emergency Surcharge. In the event a major catastrophe, which is not covered by the County’s insurance, or other extraordinary conditions which require emergency expenditures by the County for the FCMPSI or B-MWWTP and its related infrastructure to repair or replace major parts of the system, it may become necessary for the County to impose, by ordinance, an emergency surcharge on the County’s sewer service rates in order to pay for such unanticipated expenditures. The County may include in that ordinance an equivalent surcharge to the City based on the City’s proportionate capacity of the conveyance and treatment systems. The City shall have the right to comment on any proposed surcharge during the public hearing held prior to the adoption of any such ordinance.

  • Emergency Escalation Escalation is strictly for purposes of notifying and investigating possible or potential issues in relation to monitored services. The initiation of any escalation and the subsequent cooperative investigations do not in themselves imply that a monitored service has failed its performance requirements. Escalations shall be carried out between ICANN and Registry Operators, Registrars and Registry Operator, and Registrars and ICANN. Registry Operators and ICANN must provide said emergency operations departments. Current contacts must be maintained between ICANN and Registry Operators and published to Registrars, where relevant to their role in escalations, prior to any processing of an Emergency Escalation by all related parties, and kept current at all times.

  • Emergency Suspension The Union and the District recognize that emergency situations can occur involving the health and welfare of students, employees, or the public.

  • Emergency Services The parties recognize that in the event of a strike or lockout, situations may arise of an emergency nature. To this end, the Employer and the Union will agree to provide services of an emergency nature.

  • Emergency Maintenance LightEdge reserves the right to perform emergency Service maintenance as needed outside the Scheduled Maintenance window, in which case LightEdge will make a reasonable effort to notify the Customer if feasible under the circumstances.   • Emergency Use In the case of any civil emergency or disaster, the Licensee shall, upon request of the Issuing Authority, make available to the Town a channel for use during the civil emergency or disaster period. The Licensee shall adhere to any new Emergency notification standards as established by the Federal Communications Commission.
