Elliptic Curves Operations over Finite Fields. The main operation is Point multiplication is achieved by two basic elliptic curve operations. 1. Point addition, adding two points J and K to obtain another point L i.e. L= J + K, require 1 inversion and 3 multiplication operation. 2. Point doubling, adding a point J to itself to obtain another point L i.e. L = 2J, requires 1 inversion and 4 multiplication operation.
