Common use of Eligible Transactions Clause in Contracts

Eligible Transactions. The Chargeback Protection Tools only apply to transactions that meet all of the criteria set forth below (“Eligible Transactions”): (a) the credit or debit card transaction was processed via the Braintree Payment Processing Services; (b) the credit or debit card transaction was payment for goods and services that are not (1) excluded under the terms of the Agreement, including but not limited to the Braintree Acceptable Use Policy, or (2) is not an “Ineligible Transaction(s)” (as defined below); and (c) the Chargeback claim is either a Chargeback claim for fraud (a “Fraud Chargeback”), or a Chargeback claim that the product or service was not received (“Product Not Received”).
