Eligible Classification Sample Clauses

The Eligible Classification clause defines the specific categories or classes of individuals, entities, or items that qualify for certain rights, benefits, or coverage under an agreement or policy. In practice, this clause outlines the criteria or characteristics that must be met to be considered eligible, such as job titles, employment status, or types of goods. Its core function is to clearly delineate who or what is included or excluded, thereby preventing ambiguity and ensuring that only those meeting the defined standards receive the intended benefits or protections.
Eligible Classification. Notwithstanding Section 3.1, an Employee shall not be an Eligible Employee while he or she is a member of a classification of Employees which the Plan Administrator has designated as not currently eligible to participate in the Plan. The Plan Administrator may at any time and from time to time remove any one or more Employees or group(s) or class(es) of Employees from eligibility for participation in this Plan, provided that in no event shall any such removal reduce the amount theretofore credited to the Benefits Account of any Participant.
