Electrostatic Precipitator. Particulate control for Big Bend Unit No. 4 will be accomplished by the use of a rigid frame electrostatic precipitator. The Precipitator is designed for a 99.7+% particulate removal efficiency and includes the following associated equipment: ductwork and breaching, structural steel, foundations, pilings, hoppers/▇▇▇▇▇▇ heat tracing and electrical power and control devices.
