The 'Electronic Locks' clause defines the rules and responsibilities regarding the installation, use, and maintenance of electronic locking systems on a property. Typically, this clause specifies who is authorized to operate or change the codes for these locks, outlines procedures for providing access to relevant parties such as tenants or service personnel, and may address security protocols in case of malfunction or loss of access. Its core function is to ensure secure and controlled access to the premises, reducing the risk of unauthorized entry and clarifying accountability for lock management.
Electronic Locks. Every room is secured with an electronic lock that records the date, time and key that enters the room.
Electronic Locks. Any unit having a Safloc lock system must pay Agent a one time set up fee. This is required in order to have the lock added to Agent's system. The fee is established by Safloc and can be anywhere from $125 to $300. If Safloc increases the fee, the additional cost will be passed on to the Owner. Owner is to pay this fee to Agent at the time the unit comes on the rental program.
Electronic Locks. ‌ The SFMTA’s current parking meter technology utilizes electronic locks. The SFMTA will provide the Contractor with the appropriate system accesses and equipment to conduct meter collections. At the beginning of every collection day, collectors will be issued a handheld device that is programmed by an SFMTA representative to only open the meters along their designated routes. The Contractor’s collection employees shall sign for the handheld devices before each day’s collection and return them after completing their regular collection activities. Once the handheld devices are issued, the Contractor shall store them in a secure lockbox fastened to the inside of the collection vehicle. The Contractor shall be responsible for the security of the handheld devices while the collectors are performing their duties. When not in use, the handheld devices shall be stored in an SFMTA approved locked storage area in the Contractor’s offices. The Contractor shall provide 24-hour video surveillance of the handheld storage unit.
Electronic Locks. Brink’s shall not be required to Service any ATM that is not equipped with an electronic locking system that has separate combinations for Brink’s and any other party that can access the ATM and a means to identify, through the lock’s network access logs, each party who gained access to the ATM. Unless otherwise specified under Special Instructions in Exhibit A, Customer shall be responsible for the purchase and installation of such locks on all ATMs.
