Electronic Communication Devices. The District shall provide electronic communication devices to all Grounds employees who are on call for snow removal.
Electronic Communication Devices. Employees are prohibited from using any electronic communication devices while working any shift, whether provided by the Company or personally owned, except to the extent reasonably necessary to perform their duties and/or to address an emergency.
Electronic Communication Devices. Bring Your Own Technology Students may bring their own technology and utilize personal electronic communication devices at school and at school activities. Students may use these devices in the classroom when the teacher deems them appropriate for educational purposes. A campus or classroom teacher may elect to have designated times and locations where students are not allowed to access District or personal technology. Students are responsible for personal property brought to school and should keep personal items with self or in a locked space. Devices should be charged prior to bringing them to school. Electronic Communication Devices. All electronic communication devices and related equipment and accessories are the property of the District and may be issued to students at the sole discretion of, and for a duration determined by the District.
Electronic Communication Devices. The Village retains the right to require employees to carry electronic communications devices during off-duty hours, but employees shall only be eligible for pay if called and requested to work, in which case the employee will be paid for actual hours worked in accordance with this Agreement. There will be no discipline or discrimination for failure to answer a Village provided electronic communication device during off-duty hours during the term of this Agreement, unless the Village can establish just cause for the discipline, e.g., a pattern of not returning calls in a timely manner.

These may be confiscated and held by administration. Students may receive support and assistance with their homework in the library on Monday through Thursday, 2:40PM to 3:30PM, depending on funding availability. Students in grades 6-8 may see a middle school teacher for help before and after school, given the teachers’ availability. Disruptive students will be removed from homework club and may jeopardize their placement. Parents must be on time to pick up their child. In K-8, a report card will be electronically mailed home at mid-year and year-end. Progress reports are issued in the middle of each grading period. Progress reports are not necessarily sent home for every class or for every student. Progress reports serve a number of purposes: • To inform you that your child is keeping up with all work and is doing well in the classroom. • To inform you that while your child is doing well overall in a specific class, there are some areas (i.e. homework) that are in need of further attention. • To inform you that your child is not keeping up with requirements for the class. • To inform you that your child is in danger of failing a class. In addition, parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to frequently check their student’s portal to get an understanding of their child’s current progress and should reach out to teachers individually with concerns.
Electronic Communication Devices. All electronic communication devices are to be used for educational purposes only and are not to interrupt or hinder the educational process. Electronic devices (including computers and the Internet) are not to be used for obtaining or storing inappropriate or copyrighted material (including music, videos or movies) or disrupting the network. Students are to read and sign the Internet Use policy before using the Internet. Violations of the policy could result in the loss of privileges on the Internet, suspension from school, or other disciplinary action deemed appropriate by Central Tech administration. Students who take unauthorized video or pictures during the school day will be subject to disciplinary action. Students are not authorized to post to the internet any pictures or video taken on Central Tech property without the express permission of Central Tech.
