ELECTRICITY SUBSTATION Clause Samples

The ELECTRICITY SUBSTATION clause defines the responsibilities and requirements related to the provision, operation, or maintenance of an electricity substation within a project or property. Typically, this clause outlines which party is responsible for constructing or upgrading the substation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and coordinating with utility providers for connection and ongoing service. For example, it may specify that the developer must deliver a fully operational substation before occupancy or that the tenant is responsible for certain maintenance tasks. The core function of this clause is to clearly allocate duties and manage expectations regarding the critical infrastructure needed to supply electricity, thereby preventing disputes and ensuring reliable power delivery.
